Dec 06, 2014 Windows 8.1 is a free upgrade to all Windows 8 users, but you normally can’t install Windows 8.1 with a Windows 8 product key. Luckily, you can get around this limitation if you really want a fresh install of Windows 8.1.
Please make sure you have the following:
An internet connection to download the tool and the Windows 10 image. Internet service provider fees may apply.
Sufficient data storage available on the computer you are clean installing. Note that the download and image is over 3GB.
